COMPANY HISTORY UELC was founded by Thomas Dalum while he was working at DUECO, his family's utility equipment company. Dalum felt they could better fulfill customer needs by offering more substantial rental and leasing programs. In UELC's early years, the idea of renting and leasing equipment was in its infancy. Most companies felt that if they needed a piece of equipment, they would buy it. DUECO, as the largest distributor of Terex Utilities products, understood what these companies were looking for in their new equipment. Together DUECO and UELC are able to offer customers, they equipment they want or need, with financial solutions to fit every budget. Today, UELC has a thorough understanding of customer needs and objectives which allows us to provide our customers with more profitability and efficiency through quality equipment and innovative financing. Still family-owned, and currently operated by the third generation, UELC proves to be a good business decision for thousands of companies across the country.
